Admin moderation guide

Business moderation actions appear on each business detail page for Super Admins and Cluster Admins.

Admin > Moderate businesses is a recent and search workspace for finding listings that need review.

Use Pause Listing when a business should be hidden while admins complete background verification.

Use Resume Listing when verification is complete and the business can be visible again.

Club moderation lives in Clubs > Club Dashboard. Super Admins and Cluster Admins can delete prohibited clubs from discovery and registration.

Use Delete when a listing must be removed but the account should remain active.

Use Delete & Ban only for prohibited, abusive, or bad-faith submissions where the creator or owner should lose platform access.

Banning a user invalidates their active sessions and prevents future authenticated access.

How-to articles

How to create a cluster

Super Admins can open the Admin Community page, create a new cluster, then assign its Cluster Admin from the same area.

If your area is not live yet, use the Feedback page and submit a request for a new cluster with your city or region, community need, and contact details.

How to publish announcements

Use the Admin Community page to create a cluster-wide or masjid-specific announcement, choose the right priority, then publish it to the public feed.

How to manage prayer data

Use the Ingestion area to review ingestion status and run the latest import when needed, then use iqamah overrides only for same-day manual adjustments.

How to delete a prohibited business

Open Businesses, select the business, then use the admin moderation actions on the detail page. Use Pause Listing for verification holds, Delete for removal, or Delete & Ban Owner when the owner should lose platform access.

FAQs

Who can create a new cluster?

Only Super Admins can create clusters and assign Cluster Admins.

Use the Feedback page and submit a request for a new cluster for your city or region. That request can then be reviewed by the Super Admin team.

Who can update a masjid?

Super Admins can update any masjid, Cluster Admins can update masjids in their cluster, and Organization Admins can update only their assigned organizations.

Where do admins delete prohibited clubs?

Open Clubs, then Club Dashboard. Super Admins and Cluster Admins can use Delete Club or Delete & Ban Creator from the club action area.

Their account is marked as banned, active sessions are cleared, and authenticated access is blocked.

How do I set my Home Masjid?

Sign in, open Settings, choose your Home Masjid from the dropdown, and save it. This helps personalize your prayer experience across the app.
